I just finished a book by Barbara Boswell Brunner, called Dog-Ma, The Zen of Slobber. It's a FREE Kindle download on Amazon, so it's legal.

It's a memoir about a couple and their nine dogs (not all at once). The couple rescued eight of the nine dogs, and fortunately they were wealthy people who could afford top-quality medical care for the dogs, many of whom had major health issues, and good professional training for the ones with "issues." Plus they were able to afford housing designed to be a dog's dream, with large fenced yards and dog doors, and spacious interiors for their four (sometimes five) dogs at a time.

It's a fun read about some really quirky but loving dogs.
