In the last few years, many of our supporters have suggested that we open a thrift store again. Recently, we found a way to try out the idea but with mainly vintage or antique items. It’s a sales booth at the Wildwood Antique Malls at 364 Shopping Center Drive on 301!

We have a 10’ X 10’ booth. And in typical fashion, our wonderful volunteers and community jumped in with great enthusiasm! It's been up and running for a month or two as we gather donations. Stop by, browse and shop to your heart's content knowing you're helping local animals in need. If you have items, mainly vintage or antique as required by the Wildwood Antiques Mall, you would like to donate, first call our HS/SPCA office at 352-793-9117.

As always, we appreciate all the different ways people show their support for our Humane Society. Time will tell how this idea works out for us and if it’s a success, we will look into expanding into the thrift store concept.
