Default A little dog humor

I've seen many of these, but they still make me chuckle.

Top 10 Peeves Dogs Have With Humans

1. Blaming your farts on me..... not funny... not funny at all !!!

2. Yelling at me for barking. I'M A FRIGGIN' DOG

3. Taking me for a walk, then not letting me check stuff out. Exactly whose walk is this anyway?

4. Any trick that involves balancing food on my nose. Stop it!

5. Any haircut that involves bows or ribbons. Now you know why we chew your stuff up when you're not home.

6. The sleight of hand, fake fetch throw. You fooled a dog! Whoooo oooooooo what a proud moment for the top of the food chain.

7. Taking me to the vet for "the big snip", then acting surprised when I freak out every time we go back.

8. Getting upset when I sniff the crotches of your guests. Sorry, but I haven't quite mastered that handshake thing yet.

9. Dog sweaters. Hello ??? Haven't you noticed the fur?

10. How you act disgusted when I lick myself. Look, we both know the truth. You're just jealous.

Do you have a peeve your dog has? Please share! Mine does not like getting into the car for ANY reason. He thinks any entrance into the car = a three-day trip up north.

He hates it when I stop petting him.

Good one! I get a paw slap on the arm when I stop. What does Beau do?

Pushes me with his head to keep petting him and/or moves the channel changer or book away from my attention.

I had to pet him for about 15 minutes last night while trying to read Robert B. Parker's Ironhorse by Robert Knott. I did not get through many pages. He frequently makes it so I have library fines because I have to put the book down. The channel changer is easier to use quickly.

Off topic... Tal, is that the book Parker was writing when he died suddenly at his desk? Finished by someone else? If so, is it any good?

These are books by his one of his co-screenwriters from Appaloosa Robert Knott. They are a lot like other Virgil Cole and Everett Hitch books.

He has a number of writers picking up on his series.

OK. I was thinking of his Spenser series. Different author picking up on that one.

My dachshund used to untie my sneakers as soon as I put them on. Perhaps an effort to make me stay home with him!!
