Ladydoc this kitty is an escape artist so maybe a GPS locater on his collar would work.

We are on the lookout....

Wow, that's a great idea.

We used to have a male Siamese who was SO good at slipping out (especially with elementary-age kids in the house). We nicknamed him Joe Montana.

I'm sorry you lost your cat. I'll keep you both in my thoughts for a quick and safe return. It's so very scary to not know where your baby has gone. Hopefully he will be home very soon and is just having an adventure.

If I remember right, he was lost the last time for over a month. He sure is adventuresome.

Four days after he got out, he strolled back IN at 5:30 in the morning screaming to be fed. I have no idea how he found his way home, but I am so relieved he did. I ordered a GPS collar that is small enuf for cats and it will be here tomorrow. I hope this is the last time he gets out and that we can find him quickly if he does. Thanks so much for your help. He seems quite determined to get out and had jumped over the dogs to get out when I open the door for them to go out. When I am there, I call him back in and he comes. After what he went through the last time he got out I would have thought he would stay clear of doors. How soon they forget. I am so glad he is back and we are redoubling our efforts to keep track of him when we open the door. I am hopeful the gps collar will never be needed....

YAY!!! So glad he's back, the little stinker! That GPS collar will give you peace of mind. Also, is he microchipped? (This may have been answered before; if so, sorry.)

Tombstone is not only beautiful he's a character, he's got that wanderlust. He's probably annoyed that the dogs get to go out and he's left behind. I'm happy he found his way home.

Glad Tombstone made it home. You might want to consider getting Tombstone microchipped, if he isn't already. I just saw a piece on tv a few days ago about a Beagle that was gone for 17 months and ended nearly 400 miles from home. Before being returned to his owner he had ended living with a foster family. They had to take the dog to the vet for a cough and the vet just happened to check if he had a microchip. Sure enough. And after 17 months and almost 400 miles he was returned to his owner. That was a happy ending. Here is a link to the story: Beagle missing for 17 months ends up 400 miles away in Brentwood | Local News - WTAE Home
