Phew... poor little Copper was worried sick about the possibility of a paternity suit... or a shotgun wedding at best!

We have learned a lesson and will be very careful when opening the door. Happy days!
So happy that Dixie returned safe and sound!!!
Fantastic. When I have to do something where the front door is open constantly, I usually keep mt cat in the lanai until the traffic is gone. Let this be a lesson. It is a jungle out there.
Thats why I pack a couple of bannana's in my lunch.

I'm glad Dixie found her way home!

A couple of years ago, one of my cats accidentally got out when we were visiting our condo on St. Augustine Beach over Christmas. She had never been there before and it scared me to death. We put out food on the patio and at the front door and she found her way home three days later.

She got a microchip as soon as returned to Michigan!!

Good for Dixie for finding her way home. That's a sigh of relief. Even if microchipped, the bigger worry is a pet outside who is not used to traffic. Especially kitties, who often won't come to strangers for help.

Glad for you and Dixie.
