Default Kitten in kitchen

Iris Model- I'm not sure if all models or just our kitchen is like this. Our new kitten was playing on the floor by the sink and started climbing up in. Thankfully she was to big, but her head got caught some. She is fine, no injury. Scared us though. There are 2 holes under the cabinets that she could have gotten through. Both holes/gaps are in the corner where the cabinets meet. I can't believe they would leave them unfinished like this, and again maybe it is just our house. They have been repaired now. Just wanted to give you a heads up for smaller animals.

Our cat was the runt, and as a kitten she found more gaps to get into that you can imagine. The "roadblocks" are gone now, but she still looks at them with fond memories.

When my cat was younger, he climbed in between the bottom cabinet and the floor board. We heard him crying and couldn't find him anywhere. I move the refrigerator out to see if he was behind it. All of a sudden we saw his little white paw come out from under the cabinet. I thought we were going to have to pull the whole cabinet apart (and it wasn't our house), I was so distraught by the whole thing. Finally, I put my hand under the gap and held it over his belly so he wouldn't tear it open on the pointed corner and he was still small enough to squeeze through. Whew, luckily they grow fast and he couldn't fit under anymore.

One time, Mom and I could hear a faint cry but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. We soon realized it was our cat, Torie. After what seemed like hours of searching we found her in one of our closed, bottom kitchen drawers! Who knows when she crawled in it!

Kaylee, our two year old cat, is something else! Our pet sitter calls her a tornado on 4 legs! She is a sweetie but you never know what she is going to get into!
