Default Maxine Cat needs a new home very soon

Maxine chose us to take care of her when she was a kitten about 7 years ago. Urgent circumstances beyond her control require we find a new home for her in the next few days. She is just too nice a cat to have to go to a pound or the alternative.

She enjoys being around people and will usually be somewhere in the same room with you - and occasionally snoozing on your lap. She will require a bed to hide under during a thunderstorm.

She has been spayed, declawed and is totally healthy.

Her highness will prefer being the only cat in her new home.

She will bring all of the equipment & supplies she needs to her new home - litter box, litter, carrier, food dishes and plenty of the food she likes - all without charge, of course.

Won't you please come to our home to meet her and see if you can find a place for her in your heart?

Please respond via Private Message for contact information.

First of all, she is a beautiful kitty. May I ask why you need to give her up? I hope the "alternative" is not to have her euthanized.

May I suggest, if you cannot find a home for her, that you contact South Lake Animal League. They are a no kill facility. I got my dog from them and they are wonderful people. They have a separate house "The Cat Cottage" that houses their cats. They are wonderful people who really love animals. And they have great success finding homes for the animals. When we went there, it took us 13 minutes from Leesburg. I will tell you that you have to turn off the paved road onto a dirt road, but it is a good road. We were concerned because we have a car and it had just rained. It was packed hard and we had no problems. And again, they are a no-kill facility.

Here is their website and phone number:

Default Maxine

Thanks for your concern and suggestions.

I would never have her euthanized.

I will be happy to share the reason for wanting to find another home for her if you send a PM to me.
