Does anyone know why Atlas Dog Park is closed til further notice?

Was wondering the same thing. Hope an "official" didn't assume the blood on the sidewalk was the result of a dog fight and decided to close it. I understand that a large dog lost a toenail and was bleeding pretty badly. I am really hoping they've closed it to fill in the low, muddy spots with sand and sod. The drainage is abysmal and is made worse by their continuing to irrigate.

I haven't been notified even tho I subscribe to Rec Center Closure information.
Have you called Community Watch or the Rec Center to find out? They would probably have an explanation.

It was actually re-opened by yesterday afternoon. Gore from broken toenail all power-washed off sidewalk. Many happy, big dogs there this morning!
