My hubby just now walked out with Fabio. He doesn't look like a happy camper....Fabio is not please at either. Fabio is only 4.2 pounds and that wet grass in puddles freaks him out.

My little Pug Chester hated to get his feet wet too. Forget it if there was any snow on the ground in the winter

My standard poodle refuses to get his feet wet - I drag him out and try to keep both of us under the umbrella. The Aussie on the other hand would frolick in the rain if given the opportunity.

Beau had to go without a lap for a while as he had to dry off from the rain and that was not going to be while sitting on my or one of my parents' laps.

Maybe the OP could just take the dog out under the eaves? That sometimes worked for Sport. I'd go to the side of the house where the rain was not coming down under the eaves and hope there was a door at that side.

Default We have a closed in courtyard which should...

give some relief from rain, but this little dachshund has a mind of his own and has NO interest in getting his paws wet....I'm amazed how long he "HOLDS OUT" for the moment!

Sunny, my poodle, goes out in the rain with his yellow slicker on (which is too big for him), steps on the tie, falls on his face - but, he is a good sport about it. I just love him. What a sweetheart. Watch for his portrait in the Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital in Pinella's Park. My cat's portrait is supposed to be there, too.
