Idgie is a mature female kitty who is independent but also loves to sit on your lap and even sleep with you - if allowed.

She is declawed, up to date on her shots, litter box trained and very sweet natured. She has been around dogs and other cats and is very adaptable but she does thrive on being the "queen" of the castle.

Hi Graciegirl,
Yes.. she is loved. I've had her since she was 6 months old. Since I have relocated to the Villages (3 years now) I travel back to Jacksonville quite frequently for a week or longer at a time to visit my kids/grands, leaving her alone a great deal. I feel it is not fair to her that I am gone SO much of the time now. She really is a good companion for someone who is home more than not and that is my desire for her.
