Default Need a Vet

My wife's Bichon Freese has lymes disease acting up again. He needs an anti-biotic, can anyone recommend a good vet in or near TV.

I don't have any animals but a good friend of mine does and she's married to a retired veterinarian from Chicago. Dr. Porter, in Wildwood, is their choice. She says it's not a fancy office with no bells and whistles, but he is one heck of a good vet!

We also use Dr. Porter in Wildwood. He is located in a plaza on CR 301 (it's not far from CR 466A).

We do like the fact that Buffalo Ridge offers a 24 hour emergency service.

Mulberry Grove Animal Hospital........on SR 42 (north end of The Villages). Dr. Candice Vance (who we see) or Dr. Jennifer Tietelbaum.......great vets and staff. Very knowledgeable and compassionate. 352-245-9009.

Yes, we take our Bichon to Dr Mills at Animal Paws at Laurel Manor. You will love her. She takes good care of our little 8 year old Mia.

I'd be interested to hear whether you found a good Vet.
