I will try to get some other pictures of him and Sport our previous pooch after we take the digital film to be developed.
Thanks again to Jaggy for posting these two pictures of Beau. For those looking to adopt, remember to stop by Saturdays to the Pet Smart on US 441/27. http://www.maxspetconnection.com/our_furry_friends.html http://www.maxspetconnection.com/ |

There are many fine pet rescue organizations in the area. And there are also many wonderful people willing to adopt pets and give them another chance at a happy home. I'm especially grateful to our many volunteers who work at these organizations. I know there are many unsung heros. One that I know of is a TOTV member, Debfrommaine, who volunteers at All Creatures Sanctuary. We have our Lollipop thanks to Pet Lovers Rescue. Barb Irwin works tirelessly for the animals. I believe they adopt out of Petco. Our Lollipop is a Portuguese Water Dog that was abandoned as a puppy. She was rescued by Pet Lovers, and adopted out a few times, before we were lucky enough to find her at the age of three. She lights up our life, along with our little Biggins, age 13. Susan G is another wonderful example of people who are dedicated to animals. She has convinced me that there are many rewards in adopting an older dog. As we age, it's something to keep in mind.
