These two sweet brother cats can be adopted together or separately.

We are expecting a baby and cannot keep our sweet, adorable kitties. It is with a sad heart that we are trying to find a good home for them.

Loki, nicknamed Pudge, is an easy going cat who loves to sit in your lap and be petted. He is also independent and is perfectly fine being by himself for a few hours a day. Pudge loves to watch the world go by through a window on a comfy seat.

Odin is very affectionate and loving. He will not hesitate to nudge your hand so that you will pet him. Always sweet, he would rather run and hide from something scary than hiss and fight.

Both brothers are neutered and 7 years old. They both still love to chase toys, play and run around the house. They would thrive best in a mature home with no children and no other cats. We have scratching posts to go along with them and two cat trees so you can choose from that would best fit in your home.
They are not declawed and because of their gentle nature do not need to be. Keeping around scratching posts takes care of the need to scratch furniture.

We are not afraid these wonderful cats will be a problem with the baby.
Before marriage, there was one girl cat with the wife and the boys with the husband. After two years of trying to have them get long (and thousands of dollars of medical issues and stitches from cat fights) we decided the most kind and fair thing to do would be to try and find the sweet boys a loving home. That is why this is sad for us... because of the inability of the cats to get along.

I know I shouldn't say this, but because I am an old wife, I feel I should. It is an old wives tale that kitties will hurt an infant. I had kitties and infants and no problem at all.

Same here, we always had cats and never any kind of problem. When my daughters were around five or so ,they would dress the cat up in dolls clothing and push kitty around in a doll carriage. But you do what ever is right for you.

I put the crib in the nursery awaiting the birth of my baby.. I found my cat laying smack in the middle of it, I yelled.. ( I know, not good) but I yelled at her and said no no no and picked her up and put her out of the room.. that crazy cat never went near the crib again.. even after my daughter was born and cried like a kitten..

When our son was born, I temporarily replaced his bedroom door with an inexpensive screen door. This kept the cat out while maintaining the ability to see and hear him in his crib. We continually had cats from the time he was born until he left home for college and never had a problem with the cats. Now as far as our son goes? Well....... that's another story!

No it's not that we're afraid of the cats hurting the baby...
It's a very long story that involves my cat and my husbands brother cats (shown above) not getting along causing basically thousands of dollars worth of medical issues over the two years we've tried to get them to get along.

When we have the baby I'd rather not be worried that if they get together I'd have to separate them because one would kill the other.
I'd like to find them a loving home where they don't have to be locked in a room for the whole day away from each other...

Okay, now I am confused. In the original post with the 2 cats pictured you say how gentle and affectionate they are there was never a need to declaw them. Now all of a sudden you are talking about two cats that want to kill each other and can't be in the same room! What is the real story here???

OP is still talking about her cat not getting along with his cats; not about his cats not getting along with each other. She just didn't word it right.

OP, I know how you feel. We rescued a younger cat 2 years ago and she still doesn't get along with my older cat.

Thank you for explaining KittyKat - it's very frustrating trying to have them get along with my cat for over two years now. It's just not working so we need to find them a loving home...

That's odd. I've had lots of cats. Never heard of male and female fighting. 2 males or 2 females fighting, yes. Your girl must be very territorial.
