Come out this Saturday 3/21 to South Lake Animal League's Spring Adoption Party. Only roughly 30 miles from Leesburg. Visit, see what they offer, play with the dogs, and maybe even find one you can't live without. They also have cats.

Here are photos of a couple of the dogs that are going to be at the party on Saturday. Aren't they cute? Looking for loving homes.

Someone asked me how do you get there. Do you know where Holiday Travel Resort is on County Rd. 33? Cty. Rd. 33 is just a short piece south of Leesburg, where the road veers off to the right. The shelter is a nice country drive out Hwy. 33 to Baptist Island Road (on the left). It is a dirt road, but nicely maintained. We drove our car down it after a rain and no problem.

From the intersection of Hwy. 27 and Main St., Leesburg, go about 3 or so miles south, take a slight right onto Cty. Rd. 33, stay on 33 for about 9.6 miles approx. Look for Baptist Island Road on the left. Turn left onto Baptist Island Road. Go about 0.7 miles. You'll see their sign when you get there.
