I can comment on the Atlas dog park off Moyer Loop in the Village of Pine Hills. We take our beagle there almost every day. The park is divided in two sections, one for small dogs (30 lbs and under) and large dogs (over 30 lbs.). This is a fairly new park, having been open a year or two. It's a large area and gives the dogs plenty of room to socialize, to run and to play. Water is available for the dogs.Benches are also available so you don't have to stand the whole time. The only negative I have is no shade and it gets very hot in the summer for both dogs and people. The park is well attended and we are glad we have it.
FYI This park will be closed April 10-14 for maintenance. Give it a try when it reopens. |
