Default MRSA in dogs, esp threat to therapy dogs

I apologize in advance for what I'm about to do.
I'm receiving emails from therapy dogs international regarding the risk of therapy dogs becoming infected with MRSA when making visits to healthcare facilities.

I know we are all concerned about pestilence right now, and animal owners should know this possibility exists. And yes, The research shows that it can be transmitted through dog feces.

A dear human friend who contracted MRSA in the St.John's River and who lives here in The Villages had to have surgery of the infected site and chemo infusions twice a day for six week.

It is a very serious matter indeed.
