We need a good vet for our best friend when down for 6 months out of the year. Any recommendations? Thank you in advance

We are new Villagers and have been happy with Buffalo Ridge.

I've been using Mullberry Grove Animal Hospital on CR42 for the past five years and think they are wonderful.

We have used the Mobile Vet for an emergency but normally use the Buffalo Ridge Vets.

Check out Banfield at PetSmart. We are very happy with their service and they have an annual program fee rather than fee for service. Since they are nationwide, you might be able to enroll your pet and get service both North and South.

My number-one-all-time-favorite bridge partner is Vetman (Chelsea's hubby). He's a retired vet who has freelanced at many of the vet offices in and near TV. He recommended Dr. Valdez in Wildwood (easy to get to via 466/466A and, yes, even 441). DickY also used him for his beloved Katrina. So, there's my recommendation.

I'll second the vote for Mulberry Grove Animal Hosp. They cared for my elderly English Cocker Spaniel for the last 2 years of his life and now care for our new ECS Star. They are kind compassionate and caring.

I am very happy with Dr. Miller at PAWS. 352-259-2439 One of my doxies had a tumor on his leg that burst when we were moving here. I didn't know what it was and just kept it clean during our 4 day travel. PAWS got him in immediately, diagnosed the problem and set him up for surgery immediately. Follow up was great and you can hardly tell he had surgery. They are very personal and the office is spotless.

I agree on Mulberry Vet. The two vets there are wonderful and caring.

I took Rusty to Buffalo Ridge and he and I were very happy with Dr. Debra Rakes.
