This is Vinny. He is a 4 year old border collie born on Halloween in 2020. A breeder sold him to my parents in 2021 even though they were in their mid 80s.
They are both deceased now and we have had him here with our other 2 dogs and 3 cats. It is a LOT because he is a typical high energy border collie. However, now he is spending his days either outside or crated because one of our dogs was injured in a freak accident on 21 March and has needed our 24 hour care since then as she recovers from spinal trauma. She will have to be protected from rough play and further spinal injury, so we can rarely let them both outside together.

We are looking to rehome Vinny for his sake. He gets along w other dogs and cats (well he tries to herd the cats by following them around, but he isn't aggressive). He is house and crate trained and up to date on vaccines etc. He is very smart and affectionate and loves to play fetch with the Chuck-it! We want him to have a good home with someone who loves him for the dog he is. We care about him very much and are serious about finding him a good fit. He's a nice looking Border collie and preferred situation is a farm setting for that breed. At this point is difficult to know how he would transition to that type of home. Wishing you good luck in placing him. Having 2 different homes/owners is a lot of change for him.
