When you take you pup or grown dog to the vet for shots or prep work for a procedure (ie spay), does the vet allow you to be in the room when the shots are given or does your Vet ( or a Vet Asst.) do the prep work. After an operation, does the Vet see the pup 7-10 days afterwards, do an exam and take the stitches out or is this all done by a Vet Assistant????
Things are surely done different here than what we are used to in N Va! How is it done at other locations such as Mulberry! |

I took my cat in for blood tests. The Vet said she would draw the cat's blood in another room. I said "That's OK, I'll go with you". She said sometimes they have to try several times and the owners get upset. I stayed with the cat and it was just fine. But I'm usually a calm person. I'd suggest you ask on the telephone before you book an appointment whether they are flexible.
