I've been using the Village Groomer in Spanish Plaines shopping center for over ten years and have been very pleased. They are very kind to the pets and do a good job of grooming. However, if you live in the newer section south of 466A, this would not be a convenient location.

We use Mulberry Animal Hospital on 42 for our vet, specifically Dr. Teitlebaum. We were one of her first "patients" when she opened the practice many years ago. We have been more than happy with her. We use Tina at Vanity Fur on 441/27 for our groomer. She knows her stuff and has won grooming awards in competition. Excellent work from her and easy to work with, too.

Sooo happy to hear about Dr Teitlebaum! We bought a CYV a short walk away and this will work out perfectly! As for grooming, we have Toy Fox Terriers. Wipe 'em down with a damp sponge and they're good to go!

Seriously, thanks so much for the information. Jotting it down right now. We want the best for our TFT babies!

I can't say for sure because we have just moved down and are using Buffalo Ridge on 466. My vet up north recommended them. We have been in a couple times, unfortunately, and they have been really responsive. They have emergency 24 hours care as well which we have had to use as well. Today they called to check on a medication they prescribed to make sure there was improvement.

We also use Bone Crazy. They do a great job and our shih-tzu likes going there. They are in Wildwood on 466A just past the county building. Nice, clean place.

I take my "kids" to Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital - love both female vets there. For grooming I use The Village Groomer in Spanish Plaines next to Winn Dixie - do my poodle just the way I want him.

Joaniesmom - Just to clarify, Dr. Teitlebaum isn't a short walk away, but she is only about 5 minutes via car.

When we moved down we started taking our girls to Village Veterinarians across 441 from Spanish Springs to see Dr. Fox. She is great with our girls and we highly recommend her. We have also had to utilize the emergency services at Buffalo Ridge and were very satisfied with the care received there.

As an additional note, I don't know if everyone knows or not, but there are specialty clinics in Maitland. We have had to take our girls to see Dr. Denis the Opthamologist there. Dermatologist, orthopaedic and internal medicine clinics are also available there.

Almost forgot, but we take them to Petsmart for their grooming. They don't get that quite as often as they should, but they look very good afterwards.
