Default IS it true they don't make you sneeze

Most dogs with long hair make me sneeze and my eyes water is it true that these cute little guys don't. I saw it on the net so I don't count on it being true.

My parents had 2 Bichons. They are very smart with lots of personality and make wonderful companions.

Trudy, I am highly allergic to most dogs and cats, sad but true. Before my two cats passed away I was being treated for asthma. Within a short time after they passed all my symtoms disappeared I was allergic to my beautiful cats.

I never had a problem with my Duffy who was a Maltese since they do not have fur or an undercoat. They have hair, silkey long hair and they are always white. So Trudy, Yes it is true that some breeds such as Maltese, Bichons, Poodles and Yorkies are hypoallergenic, thank God.

Bichons are wonderful dogs! They're super smart, full of character, and will melt your heart in a heartbeat. I had a female and currently have a male. They're hypoallergenic so they won't make you sneeze or make your eyes water...but they will bring a smile to your face everyday. Best wishes to you as you search for that bundle of joy.

I Just lost my Bichon of 19 years, he died right after Christmas. He was the sweetest dog ever and very laid back, He loved everyone, miss him so much. Good luck in finding yours.
