We have a pet camel named Jamal. We got him from the camel rescue organization in Okahumpka. He presents unusual challenges, but well worth the effort.

I've had Pomeranians for 47 years, never without one for longer than two months. I just got my fifth one, a male puppy, who is three months old and a handful.

We love Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

We are bringing down our goats because the lawn services can not seem to get rid of the damn weeds in the yard. Our goats will take care of that in just a few weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience to our neighbors.

We had 7 cats. Or was it 8. Never more than three at a time! Three goofy Siamese, the best orange and white cat ever, a black cat, a calico, a Siamese mix. All rescues. Then a golden, two canaries, and now a cockatiel and a golden. Numerous fish down through the years. One angel fish was really nasty. Oh, and a German shepherd dog rescue (briefly), and a Springer Spaniel rescue.

I'm still dreaming about the sweetest little rescue dog at PetsMart a month ago. He looked like a brown & black beagle but only about 12 lbs. The biggest eyes, and quiet. Hubs would have... well... We'd need a Suburban. I'm not allowed to go in there alone on the weekend.

My Sammy is a tabby and on my lap now.

At one time we had a dog, 2 cats, cockatiel, gerbils and fish - all at the same time! Was like having a food chain of pets. Everyone died of natural causes....except Sammy, who's still on my lap.

We actually do not have a pet, however, our 9 year old Maltese has two adorable human pets that are very well trained and completely housebroken.

We always said that we were the proud owners of a Pug named Chester.

Truth be told, he was the one that owned us. Chester gave us 12 years of love and devotion and some of the happiest moments in our family.

I have a mini schnauzer. He is a good companion but not much of a watch dog. Every time there is any noise ( owl, coyote, thunder ) I watch him run under the bed to hide. I love my Little Tom !!!!

We've usually had two or three dogs at a time. Now we have just two dogs, due to Villages restrictions.
At one time I had three horses, two cats and four dogs, a full house. I miss those days.
Every pet I owned was unique and very much loved. I miss them, and they all have a special place in my heart.
When I pass over the rainbow bridge to the other side, I believe there will be a big crowd of dogs, cats and horses to welcome me home.

Maddie is an Aggie. She was rescued while my son was at Texas A&M.
She is almost 8 and is so friendly that we joke that if we ever get robbed, she would just greet the robbers and show them where the jewelry is. She loves everyone.
