Default Yorkie nail trimming

My wife grooms our Yorkie, but neither of us want to cut his nails. Really don't want to take him to the vet just for his nails. Any suggestions? Thanks DGx2

I'd like to be able to do my dogs nails. My previous dogs have had no problem with me doing their nails with a Dremel tool. The new adoption is afraid of the Dremel and nail trimmers. I have tried to get him used to the tool, the sound, and the vibration, but when it touches his nail.....well forget it. I don't have enough arms and hands to hold him. I dislike having to take him to get them done. I'd appreciate any suggestions, too.

She does my Chihuahua for $10.00. I have to take him there but it is well worth the peace of mind and I don't have to leave, just wait while she does it.
