Picture George and Jiminy
The following is a caption for the attached photos. I met George and Jiminy on a recent bike ride.

Jiminy the Parrot could not have landed in a better place than on the shoulder of George Hollis. Hollis, a five-year resident of Tamarind Grove, rescued Jiminy who had been “dumped” by her original owner. “These birds take a lot of specialized care and some owners just don’t realize how much is involved,” Hollis said. Jiminy, who is 15 years old, is now living the lifestyle with his owner who takes him for golf carts rides three or four times a week. “We have two or three favorite spots that we like to visit,” Hollis said from his bench overlooking the Buena Vista Bass Pond. Jiminy also likes the Tamarind Grove post office area. Hollis, who is a member of The Villages Parrot Club, said Jiminy has bonded closely to him and his wife who cooks special meals for the bird.
