We found that they still make the cast iron Hibachi grill. Was wanting a good old charcoal experience instead of propane. Anybody out there that did not use one of these in the 60s and 70s?

Nice little addition to my Virginia outdoor kitchen.

My dad had one he used in that time period when the size of the meat did not warrent firing up the big grill. I use a small kettle grill for that size meal, as I can close the lid and do a better job of smoking the meat. I have a large gas grill for when I am in a hurry, a large cast iron smoker/grill for big jobs, and the small kettle. I use one or the other about 3 - 4 times a week.

Felt lucky if we could do hot dogs and hamburgers back then. Hauled it around in the VW bus. :beer3:
