Default Weak Batteries

I have a 2007 club car precedent with 4-12v batteries. My batteries are getting weak, but if I plug it in and charge complete over nite and then in AM remove charger and replug charger in it will charge for another hour and shut off. Seems like it gets a lot more charge by replugging charger in AM. Any ideas as to what is going on?
Thanks, Jack

Default Charging Batteries

It is not uncommon for a charger to top off batteries after being charged the night before. The charge cycle for your cart charges your 48 volt system to approx 59-62 volts before your charger and your charge computer shuts off. Over night the batteries level off to approx 52-53 volts and when you re-plug the charger in again it is looking for that 59-62 volt range thus the top off hour. Now as your batteries get older that process excels, but all charging systems will do that. I would be more concerned about the carts performance than the sequence you have discovered .
