Default 2007 Precedent batteries

My Mom has a 4 12 volt battery system in her 2007 Precedent. The batteries are constantly leaking acid, even though not over filled. The cart still seems to have enough pep when charged. Do the batteries need replacing or is there some adjustment needed? I am much more familiar with gas carts.

Default 2007 CC Batteries

The fact that your cart has power is a good possibility most of your batteries are OK. When your batteries sweat it is a sign of over charging. If one battery has some dead cells the remaining batteries could be overcharging because the bad battery never reaches full charge and the 48 volt system is coming up short.

It is obvious that the system needs to be checked properly to come up with the correct determination of the systems/conditions.
