extend the oil vent

I'm getting a small drip from the vent cap on top of the axle of my 2002 Yamaha gas golf cart. Is there a way to extend the oil vent.

Yamaha oil drip

Yes you can remove the vent plug and add a two inch extension to the vent and then replace when glue dries.
