I have several questions regarding my gas cart
1. When leaving it for long periods of time, I assume I should put it on a trickle charger - Can you recommend a specific brand and model you like? What amperage should it be? Is there a good one like I use on my motorcycle that has a pigtail that I install on the battery and just plug and unplug easily? If there is a charger than can be used to trickle charge AND full charge, that would be great too. 2. The steering on my cart is a bit "looser" than I would like, is there anything that can be done to make it a bit stiffer? Is the loose feel (really easy to turn, it does not shake or anything) an indicator that something could be wrong? |

Battery Tender makes a 1.5 amp 12 volt charger that has a quick disconnect additional plug.
Loose stering is of course most likely worn or louse parts, it is very correctable and it would solve your problem one repaired properly. |

I leave my home for long periods of time as many of us do.
I personally would not leave anything plugged into my cart in my absence. It's my personal choice. How ever upon my return I have a charger that my home watch attendant attaches the day before my return.
