Hi Frank. We are closing on a house in TV at the end of the month. We won't be able to use it ourselves for at least two years. We hope to rent it and have received expert advice about the importance of offering a golf car with the rental. We know nothing whatsoever about golf cars and we don't golf ourselves so we hadn't been planning on buying one. Would a used GC be acceptable to buy for a TV rental? Gas or electric? How new or old? Will I need insurance? Two seater or four? What other features are important? Anything information you can give us well be very helpful. Thank you. Jack

I would think a used cart in good condition would do just fine. But if you plan to move into the house eventually, buy what you would want to get around in. Many people who don't golf have golf carts to use for shopping and going to the rec centers and pools. As to gas or electric, that's an old argument here in the villages. They both have good points and bad. Read some of the previous threads and make up your own mind.
