Default 96 yamaha gas golf cart

My cart occasionally blows a puff of smoke on takeoff after being warmed up. It does not do it constantly. Is this a sign of oil burning or carb related. Any suggestions or recommendations. Thanks in advance.

Judging by it's age of 18 years I will suggest the your rings are worn out by now.
That disision is based on the fact that it occurs after it warms up.

Any idea on the approx cost of having it repaired. I have heard that putting marvel mystery oil in the gas will help. Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks again.

I do not suggest putting Marvel Mistry oil in, that is for freeing up sticky parts and not for oil burning engines.
