Default Storing a golf cart

We have a 2002 4 seater club car. What is the best procedure to store if it will not be used for 5 months? Some people have told us to put it in tow mode....can't seem to see a switch for that. worried about the new batteries.

Suggestions most welcome. Thank you.

Default Club Car storage

If you do not have an IQ model there will not find a tow-run switch.

Leaving a electric cart for five months without tending for water and charging is not healthy for the batteries.

The best advice we can give is to use low amp charging devices such as (battery minder) or (battery tender) both products will keep your batteries slow charged for the summer season.

Ultimately you could also have your house attended once a month, unplug the charger, drive the cart, and replug the charger. Add distilled water after charging.

Popular battery manufactures make suggestions like disconnecting the battery terminal and store in cool dry place, (not going to happen here). That method will lose 15% charge per month.

Hope this helps.
