Default Auto mechanic issue

I have had a truck in a mechanics shop for about a year now. They keep saying they are getting to it and they have yet to fix it. They have however removed the engine. Also while it has been sitting the tires have dry rotted and i have water damage in the truck. Also the hood has been left off with the engine out so I would believe that I have a lot of water in my transmission. And to put icing on the cake, I have never singed a written estimate and have never signed a paper saying that I do not want to receive a estimate. What should I do

You definitely have a cause of action against the mechanic for damages. Based on your brief description, it appears as though mechanic has failed to comply with Florida law, which may also result in you recovering any attorney’s fees you have expended. It is important that you act in a timely manner, as your failure to do so could result in the statute of limitations on your cause of action running. Please call my office to schedule an appointment if you have any further questions. (352) 365-2262
