Default Hold Harmless Addendum

If I rent my home and supply a golf cart, will a paragraph in the lease that specifically states the tenants are responsible for all damages to the cart and anyone else and that by signing the lease they accept complete responsibility suffice, or should I have them sign a "Hold Harmless Addendum" also?

The answer to your question is going to be in the detail of your lease agreement. I would strongly recommend that any hold harmless agreement or paragraph in your lease be reviewed by an attorney. You should also look into whether any insurance coverage you currently have or any coverage the tenant may have would afford you any protection in the event of an accident.

Could you somehow put at the top of "ask the expert" a QUESTIONS ONLY reminder so dummies like me don't post?

There is a sticky post at the top of each "ask an expert" forum with the guidelines. Anyone can ask a question, but, only the designated expert can answer in these forums.

The general forums are available for anyone to ask a question and seek a wide range of answers and opinions.

Since it appears the original question in this thread has been asked and answered, it will now be closed.
