Mariano Rivera got his 602nd save of his career today.

A humble family man who wants to be remembered for how he helped people and not for just a number. A very classy individividual.

I have been following baseball since 1951. I haven't seen anyone who was as good as him and we will never see another one like him.

He can probably pitch for another three years. He is amazing in his consistency and has had the good fortune of his health.

Most players are diminishing when they are about to reach a milestone but he is still going strong.

A milestone achievement that makes him:

The greatest closer of all time.

I agree - he is absolutely the greatest...of course, I would have preferred that he broke the record against someone other than my Twins.
