I think it is as there are 41 more games to play.. They have to play the Rays and Orioles six or seven times before the season has ended. That will have a bearing on the standings but I am confident the Yankees will play well against them. The Rays are a hot team at the moment that is deep in pitching and got Langoria back in the line-up.

I still think the Yankees will win especially if they get A-Rod and Pettite back healthy. We need them for the playoffs.

BTW - How about the job the guys are doing at third base for A-Rod.

Hopefully, Mark Texiera's wrist will stay healthy. He's going back into the line-up tonight.

It's a shame that the Red Sox are so bad this year. It's so much more interesting and exciting when the two of them are neck and neck through the end of September. Watching the Yankees run away with the AL East is like watching pain dry.

Actually, Dr - if you're a Yankee fan, it is much more fun watching the Red Sox implode before your very eyes.

FYI -After tonight's game, there are 40 left.
The NYY record this year against the 4 toughest - Tampa Bay, Baltimore, White sox and Oakland is 13W and 18L (not counting tonight's game)

But then again, these are the NEW YORK YANKEES, and it is nearing October.
sooooooooooooooooooo LOOK OUT HERE WE COME !!!!

Default Okay - that's enough!

Okay Yankees - enough is enough!
You have let your lead slip to 2 1/2 games.
while I realize it can be more "fun" this way - let's get back on track!

JUST SAYING

It will be a fight to the end of the season but I am hopeful for this reason. The Yankees will be facing an easier schedule going forward.

Hopefully, when they get Rodriguez and Pettitel back, they will play better and sanity will be restored to the Yankee universe.

Go Yankees!!!!!

AROD is a cancer. The Yankee thirdbasmen have hit over 350 with AROD's absence. Chavez and Nix have been great.
