Major League Baseball has become a joke. Ghost runner in extra innings, starters only going 5 innings, then blowing through the bull pens pitchers. I think there have only been four complete pitching games this season. Very few fans in the stands at most games. Now the gambler, Rose, being eligible -- SAD!

Rose will have a tough time getting the necessary 12 out of 16 votes from the Classic Era Committee, which only votes every 3 years. Two of the personal attributes considered by committee members are integrity and character. It's not simply reduced to on-field accomplishments.

The Pete Rose ban was a "permanent" ban, not a lifetime ban.

If it was a lifetime ban, the commissioner didn't need to do anything.
