Default Celtics vs Mavericks NBA finals

What’s your prediction? I predict the C’s in 6. Boston is too good and the Mavericks have the burden of the wack job that is Kyrie Irving. Bring on Banner #18, Jrue Holiday will put Kyrie in his place.

The Celtics are not going to be able to sleep walk through a game like they tend to do sometimes . The Celtics are a deeper team then the Dallas but they can make you crazy sometimes with there lack of effort . I always new Doncic was a good player but watching that series with the wolves was eye opening when he is hot , there’s no stopping him and not just a scorer but a great passer , as far as Irving we all no his past , he’s been an awful jerk , but he’s been a model citizen on and off the court this year , people sometimes change ,he’s only 32 , so I can forgive but not forget ,Go Celtics (7games Celtics )

His opinions off the court I could care less about....he’s a flat earther too so you know how that triggers the unnamed on here. It’s not just him....Lebron, JJ Redick etc. Until there’s a place I can go to get the lost minutes of my life back...after listening to their sweet nothings ...i’ll just take a hard pass!

On the court...Kyrie is a generational talent. Scary at times. That...and Luka (who’s been playing professionally since he was 13), plays injured, shoots from the logo...it’s not a coronation. I also have the Celtics in 6 but they have been frustrating these playoffs. Need to get to next level....with Porzingis. Too early to start up the duck boats but the keys are in the ignition

Great start, but it’s only one game. Gotta keep it going. Luka is great, but the C’s are way too deep and they are forcing Luka to play defense and tiring him out. Kyrie Irving sucks, the series is not going to be a Holiday (Jrue) for him.

Im sticking to C’s in 6. The (temporary) blowing of 25/30 point leads has been frustrating with this group. Last night they recognized it before it got back to single digits and stepped on the pedal again. As I said in earlier post, Porzingis is/will be the X factor.

One more, with four tries if necessary (highly unlikely). Looking very good for the C’s. 15-2 record so far in the playoffs is very dominant and impressive, especially while doing most of it without their starting center : )

Now it’s just a question of when....not if. They’re already looking at dates for the latest duck boat parade. I’m proud of the way they are handling Kristaps injury...they don’t need to compound his....they’re so deep that they can protect the asset and still cruise to the title. #18 in sight!

I’ve always been a Luka fan....but the more I watch his whining and theatrics...the harder it is to stay one

The Celtics did it, raise banner #18, the most of any team in NBA history. All my buddies just went home after our post game celebration, late night! What a great season, the best regular season record in the NBA and a dominant playoff record of 16 - 3. Going to sleep good tonight : )

Last post on the topic, on to banner #19. Great parade today to celebrate banner #18. It is estimated that 1.5 million people showed up for today’s parade and celebration in Title Town. I couldn’t make it, but our daughter was there and sent me some excellent pictures and a nice video. Great season : )
