Default Proper Tile Cleaning!

Cleaning grout can be a challenging task, but here are some steps you can take to make the process easier:

Start by removing any loose dirt or debris from the grout lines. You can use a soft-bristled brush or a vacuum cleaner to do this.
Make a paste using baking soda and water. Mix them until you get a thick consistency that can be applied to the grout.
Apply the paste to the grout lines, using a grout brush or an old toothbrush.
Scrub the grout lines with the paste, working in small sections at a time.
Let the paste sit for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Rinse the area with warm water, using a clean cloth or a mop. Make sure you remove all the paste from the grout lines.
For tougher stains, you can use a mixture of vinegar and water. Mix equal parts of white vinegar and water, and apply the solution to the grout lines. Let it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes, and then rinse it off with warm water.
Once you have finished cleaning the grout lines, make sure you dry the area thoroughly to prevent mold or mildew growth.
It's important to note that some cleaning solutions or methods may not be suitable for all types of grout, so it's a good idea to check with the manufacturer's recommendations before cleaning.

Default Your way

Just wondering whether your crew does what you describe -- paste, scrub, rinse, etc. -- or do you use scrubbing machines? Machines do not do a great job on grout, as far as I'm concerned.
