Played Fox Run 9 at Glenview Yesterday. The greens were aerated with
large holes and sanded heavily. Playable but not much fun to putt on.
So much for aerification schedules.

Totally agree! $65 is a lot of money for "rough" greens and surrounding grass . . . frankly, for that kind of money, they can rake the sand traps after my useage which, fortunately, isn't that often!!!! Just sayin . . . .

Played Mangrove at 7:11 today. Grass on tees. Greens playable , Ive seen there in a year.

However, I repaired an average of three ball strikes on each green. If this keeps up greens will be screwed up again in a month. Ambassadors have a device to repair pock marks left by ignorant golfers , but in ten years I have only seen it used a handfull of times. Is the job description "ride around in cart and do nothing useful"???

Played Hemingway and Kilimanjaro last week and both were in good condition.

Really??? You think a golf employee should rake your trap? Even PGA touring professionals have their own caddy that rakes the trap, employees of Augusta National have better things to do

Doubt it. But golf etiquette demands that you fix YOUR OWN pitch mark. (Do you play in the same foursome as the guy who wants the ambassadors to rake his trap?)

Tuesday............Mallory was pretty good shape, but the Gold Tees need some TLC.
