Smile Disney Fan Club??

Hi all! I am new (1st post!) to TOTV and was wondering if there is a Disney
Club in TV? We won't be Villagers for a couple of years yet, but did LSP last May and that made all the difference as to where we will retire!! TV for sure! Just wondering if there are many Disney fans that have organized themselves!! Thanks for the info!

Good morning. I don't have an answer to your question. I just wanted to welcome you to Talk of the Villages (TOTV). Welcome.

Welcome to TOTV ! ! !

Here is a link to a website that has a listing of TV clubs (not complete tho) and other info.

http://www.virginiatrace.com/

Also, try doing a search on "Disney" using the "search" on the blue bar above.

I thought I would revive this thread.

Last year in the Daily Sun there was a picture of a Walt Disney World Club in The Villages.

Would love any information. Thanks.

Kathy

Default Mickey Fanatics

There is certainly a Mickey Fanatics club in The Villages. The president is Debbie Winters and she is so knowledgeable about organizing activities and buses to go to WDW. Yesterday we had a luncheon and the guest speaker was The Dollmaker who makes dolls for Disney at EPCOT. Meetings are the 3rd Thursday at Colony Cottage Rec Center. There is always a guest speaker/villager who has lots to share.

They have a Mickey Fanatics Disney cruise planned for Nov. 29, 2012 on the Disney Dream. It is definitely for all Mickey Fanatics!!!!

Just to add a bit of information the club meets at 7pm at Colony Plaza and tomorrow is the night. If you want a good seat though you better get there early! I think this is the fastest growing club in TV at the moment. It only began last November with abut 15 people. In December there were about 50, in January around 150 and now there are over 250!

We have a great time! If you still have last weeks Rec News look on page 58 and you will find a picture of a group of us from the club that spent 24 hours in Magic Kingdom Feb 29 to March 1.

We are people who love all things Disney and lover to have lots of fun!

Thanks for the info Suzanne,

We already have a meeting on the third Thursdays at 6pm (shucks!), but I hope to join this club in the future.
