Our winter schedule is now Tuesday afternoon at 3 pm and Wednesday at 9 am and 3 pm. We give free instruction and equipment is provided. Come along to Rio Grande Neighborhood Center, the green is at the back of the car park and swimming pool. Give it a try, it is an easy sport to learn and good exercise. We provide you with information sheets and after your first lesson you will be able to join in the games. Call Christine at 352 775 2991 for more information and look in the Recreation News where you will see our group, The Villages Lawn Bowls Club. We teach you play according to the Laws of the Sport and that way you will enjoy your lawn bowls much more. Just like every sport, if you are taught correctly, it pays off! Some of our bowlers also compete in tournaments and leagues, play in the Senior Games and National Championships. You too, can achieve this within a short time, so come and give it a try!
