Smile Looking for the Villages Home Exchange Club?

Update- Now that fall is coming maybe someone has more exact information about this club?

I have heard from other villagers that there is a well established club of villagers that trade their homes with people from all over the world. If anyone knows how to contact this group, please let me know. Email here or call me, Arrachme 828-230-6613

We went to a meeting of this club -- lots of great information. Checking back on my calendar it was January 24, 6pm ay Laurel Manor. I would check the recreation news for the 4th Tuesday and see what you can find. Sorry but I can't find any of the hand outs with names and contact info. (things disappear between TV and NY)

Jumping on this thread to ask if there is any listing of the clubs here WITH an explanation of exactly what they are? I've heard there are 1800 clubs but the same ones generally appear in the rec news all the time....would love to see more!

Do you read the Rec News every single week? Most clubs meet once a month, a few more often. (Some clubs take a sabbatical during the summer months). On the week that the club meets, there is usually more detailed information about that particular club.

For instance, the Loonies and Toonies Club meets on the second Wednesday of the month during the winter months. So in the second Rec Guide of the winter months, there would usually be more information.

You can also download the weekly Recreation News in .pdf format. Explains what each club does. Have to navigate to recreation section.

It is now October and your post was much earlier- but, I just joined a Home Exchange that is not specific to The Villages but there are some Villagers who are members.
SeniorsHomeExchange.com - Seniors Vacation and Home Exchange
I like the fact that it is for seniors as I don't want to trade with a family with children. Good luck

I too am looking for this club. I've looked at the 103 page list of clubs, and cannot find it either under Home Exchange or Villages Home Exchange.

I would really like to try to exchange my home, I hope this club still exists!
