Default New England SIG

I see in the rec paper that there is a club called New England SIG. Can anyone tell me what SIG stands for?

Yes, SIG is Special Interest Group - in this case, a group under the umbrella of The Villages Genealogical Society.

Here are the SIG's in The Villages Genealogical Society.

For a description of the New England SIG you are questioning, look in this week's (May 10, 2012, pg. 42) Recreation News "Clubs" section for "Genealogy New England."

I recently joined and find the Villages Genealogical Society to be top rate!!
