Default Puc Puggy Chapter NSDAR Awards Wildwood Middle High Scholarships

The Puc Puggy Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution presented $1,500 scholarships to two graduating seniors at the Wildwood Middle High School Community Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Chapter Regent Linda Marcotte presented the first scholarship to Raquel Rowland who has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills. Quoting from one of her reference letters: “She has promoted a culture of growth and dreaming big.” Rowland is studying biomedical engineering at the University of Florida. The second recipient was Jacquari Hurst who impressed the scholarship panel with her self-determination, initiative, and proactive approach to herself, her peers, and her educators. Hurst is studying nursing at Valdosta State University.
