I am wondering if the Homebrew beer and wine brewing club is still active in The Villages. Emails I send come back. Also no information on any website or Facebook. A current email address would be great. Otherwise I will be thinking of starting a new one when we move down there in April. Thank You

That would be interesting - didn't know there was one. I'm brewing today! Making a nice S'More beer for the holidays. A chocolate stout with graham and toasted marshmallow.

That would be a club I could be interested in. Especially if club members focus on brewing good old fashioned Ales, especially malty Scottish Ales. I have grown tired of, and don’t enjoy, the new trend in craft beers which seems to focus on super hoppy IPA’s and double IPA’s. My very favorite beers are scotch ales that are aged in bourbon barrels. I have come across three of these delicious beers. Backwoods Ba$tard barrel aged Scotch Ale by Founders Brewery, Burbon County by Goose Island Brewery (it’s actually a barrel aged stout), and burbon barrel aged Scotch Ale by Central Waters Brewery.
