The Villages Orchestra, a full orchestra composed entirely of your friends and neighbors here in TV, meets Tuesdays 8 - 10:45 a.m. at Laurel Manor Recreation Center. Our SPRING CONCERT will be Friday, April 11th, 6 p.m. at New Covenant United Methodist Church. Various selections of Classical and Opera, Pops and Musicals and special guest vocalist Robbie Riddle will be on the program. Reserved seating tickets will be available on March 6th at the Villages Box Office for $15 and $10 benefitting Wildwood Food Pantry and the Soup Kitchen. Presently we invite experienced percussionists with intermediate/advanced reading ability and orchestral string musicians who have experience from intermediate/advanced high school through college levels and beyond to come join us in a relaxed, fun setting to participate in what we consider to be one of life's necessities - music! Prospective new members may attend weekly rehearsals until comfortable with concert performance. Orchestra members can assist in finding instruments if you no longer own one.
