Little Brown Jug (college football trophy - Wikipedia)

Congrats to the U of MI Wolverines who took the Little Brown Jug home again in 2023. But we may get it back in 2024.

I have met a lot of Michigan as well as Minnesota football fans here in the Villages over the years.

I went to the U of MN as a law student (Class of 1989) and then took Reading German and also a Reading Dutch course (or two?) while also dabbling with Italian, Russian, Japanese and Chinese while I worked at the U of MN Law Library.

I also had a little exposure to Korean as I had a roommate in one of the bigger dorms while a 3rd Year Law Student. He was a professor from one of the medical schools in South Korea getting yet another degree. Or, something like that.
