Default Computer help?

I need someone who can help speed up puter. having problems and although comcast is our server I use AOL so someone specifically knowledgable about AOL would be great. any recommendations? thanks

What problems are you having or is the only problem the speed? Did the problem just start occurring?

Afew common things that slow your machine down are:

1. Viruses and malware. Be sure to use an anti-virus program with current signatures.

2. Insufficient memory

3. Fragmented hard drive. There is a defragmenter in System Tools.

thanks for recommendations. does anyone know how to send copies to all members of a club so that everyone does NOT see each others email address?? has something to do with BCC but i can't find that link? thanks

The BCC is in the same area where you would type an address in to send an e-mail. Instead of putting the address where it says "to", you click bcc then put in your addresses. No one will be able to see anyone's name.

i already have my list established for club (over 100 names) and no bcc comes up with aol. that's why i need an aol expert to help me on this one!!

When you click on e-mail to open the page to start your e-mail, you will see in the top right corner cc and bcc. Just click on that.

Help!!!! My laptop is always saying that it needs an update and im tired of getting update messages poping up on the screen everytime i want to use my laptop does anyone know how to get these darn things to stop?
