Default Facebook/Chromebook help

I am on 3 Facebook golf sale pages, the main one is Purely Ping Golf Market Place. For the past 3 days when I click on "sell something" the screen goes light for about 30 seconds and then an error message appears in the lower left corner that says...something is not working, must be a technical issue.
I am on Chromebook and do not know how to fix the problem. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
Thank you

Restarting your computer can often solve a problem. Give it a try. Good luck.

Clear your browsing history and cache. Caveat: make sure you know all of your correct passwords and that google has them updated. You'll have to log in on any pages you have accounts in again even if you usually autologin when you go to the website. Clearing browsing history and cache empties those fields.

You mentioned you are using a Chromebook. Not sure if this is the problem but to rule it out, can you go to a friends house who has a non-chromebook and try it there?

It might be the site doesn't work with a chromebook or maybe the site is having issues and the problem is on their end.

I did clear history and cache...still same problem. This may sound stupid but we do have a computer here that my wife uses but for the 3 golf sites there is no login...you just join and other than joining on the computer there is no way to access the site.
To make matters worse, each site has 3-5 administrators and Saturday morning I messaged them all with the same question and have yet to get a reply from anyone.
All was working fine until Friday evening

Something else to try: Uninstall your Facebook app, reboot the Chromebook, and then reinstall Facebook.

Can I uninstall Facebook and reinstall without losing anything? - GB Times

Are you able to sign into facebook on your chromebook with another persons account, and then try doing the same action? And or trying the same action with your account on a different device? We want to make sure the issue is the device and not your account. (is it possible your account is banned on marketplace?)

I would personally make sure your chromebook and the facebook/chrome app you're using it completely up to date. Then restart the chromebook (not just sleep, make sure it fully turns off, you can do this by holding the power button for 10 full seconds)

You shouldn't need an app at all. You can access Facebook using any browser, it's a website that ALSO has an app available. I don't have the Facebook app on any of my devices, and I can access the website just fine without them.

First, let me say that I appreciate all the help and suggestions but so far no luck. I will do my best to explain what is happening in as short a post that I can make.

1. I do not have or use a Facebook app...in fact I do not use Facebook at all so I need to explain further.
2. I only use my Chromebook and rarely use the computer in the house.
3. There is no login to use Purely Ping. What happens is you google The Purely Ping Marketplace and you go to their site. The only way to see anything since it is private is to join, wait 2-3 days and see if you approved. It is in my favorites and when I click it on there it is and I can do anything except sell something. That is where the error message appears.
4. Since there is never a login it makes no difference what device I use, you need to join to see anything.
5. I hope I have made it clear but I will gladly answer any questions.
6. In closing, the problem is still there and still no replies from any of the administrators.

Purely Ping is a Facebook group. The only way to access it is via Facebook. It is not a standalone website. In order to see that group, you have to be logged in on your Facebook account. So what you need to do - is go to Facebook. Make sure you are logged in. THEN you can access the Purely Ping group.

I can access the Purely Ping site and can do everything except use the "sell something" feature. All other aspects of the site work just fine

Check to see if you are using an ADblock feature and turn it off

I believe chrome no longer supports adblock and you don't know what it is, thus you likely don't have it to begin with.

How old is your chrome book? The website might simply no longer work correctly on it.
